An unusual American Bowback Windsor chair dating to Ca 1880 and retaining a good deal of the original paint. Rescued from a New Hampshire barn in the late 70s by the family of the previous owner. A beautiful chair!

An Exceptional Pair of Italian 19540s Lounge Chairs. Designer as Yet Unknown.
This table is a unique prototype, surviving from the Director's office at British European Airways. The Table was made to show a prospective Fomica Design for BEA Canteens in the early 1960s and was passed down to the Director's son. We have not been able to trace the design or the designer. It has the BEA logo in the design and has Da Vinci's Flying Machines amidst grey color blocks. A design style possibly attributable to Lucienne Day but perhaps unrecorded as it was never put into production.
A Set of Six Thonet S32PV Cantilever Dining Chairs Designed by Marcel Breuer. These chairs are fully marked with Thonet labels and Thonet branded fabric under the seats. They have the original upholsteryin fine leather. These would date to the 1980s.

A rare chair by George Walton, A version of his Phiippines chairm this has a different treatment to the top rail of the seatback, close examination reveals differences not possible by adaptation of the better known back, hence a true variant. The chair retains some original gilding around the seat edge. In good condition throughout with no damage to the caning.
As used in the Pinafore room of the Savoy, the complete interior of which was Commissioned from Collinson and Locke

A Possibly Unique Pair of Coiled Laminated Birch Chairs by Villiers Brothers. Note the varying thickness of the pkly along the length, providing strength and flexibility. Quite stunning chairs. Stamped by the makers.
An extremely rare, possibly unique set of four stools with solid, shaped teak tops and sides to the curved legs. the curved parts in bent plywood. These came with a matching dining table, also available. The table has smilarly curved supports and a scalloped edge all round (not yet photographed). The matching sideboard has sold. We have seen an identical table with a Betty Joel / Token Works label (in wood frame and under glass). This set has no labels.
